Being kind is important because it can make a positive impact on others and create a more harmonious and compassionate world. Additionally, studies have shown that being kind can also have benefits for the individual, such as improved mood and reduced stress levels.

SMall Acts of Kindness

We are a 501c3 Non-Profit community organization focused on spreading kindness from one to another. Our goal is to empower and uplift others by showing a small act of kindness, #SMAK. #SMAK (SMall Acts of Kindness) began as something with no name, only actions performed for someone else. For example, while standing in line at the coffee shop, you decide to purchase coffee for the person behind you. You have just SMAK'd them! Now, hopefully, they will go and #SMAK someone else.

We seek to spread kindness and joy throughout this nation and this is our simple and effective way of paying it forward. Our premier event, #SMAKenger Hunt; which is similar to a traditional scavenger hunt, but #SMAK style, is hosted around the globe by partnering with like-minded companies willing to become a sponsor, as we invite and engage with participants to help us show kindness to others on a large scale. Research has shown that doing a #SMAK triggers the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in mood stability and oxytocin,
a hormone that makes you feel connected to other people. Combined, this has the effect of making you feel loved and emotionally stable when you are frequently kind to others.
